What do you do when your fleet is full of Dreadnoughts and your easily winning every battle and skirmish your facing ? There's nothing much you can do and at that point the game becomes boring for you. After unlocking all the ships there isn't much else you have to do other than visiting the game page. At some point you get tired of this. Game creators can surely do something to make it more interesting , I personally would like to see more communication with players , game creators can do this by creating alliances clans etc , most popular games in FB are the ones that let players communicate with each other by creating alliances , challenges etc. Hopefully they will do something to make the game interesting for people who in high levels. You have any ideas to make the game more interesting ? Feel free to share them in the comments section.

Allocating your stats in Facebook Fleet Command
In one of my previous posts I talked about the most important thing to win battles in Facebook Fleet Command . In that post I have mentioned that the state of the crew play a very decisive roll in winning battles or skirmishes. That is where the allocation of your stats becomes very important. Your commanders stats doesn't effect the state of the crew , so you can allocate them anyway you want , but its always good to have a nice balance giving equal weights to all five attributes.
How your allocate your crew stats determine the status of your crew. Some wait till there crews become exhausted to rest there crew. This is not a good idea. I will share how I allocate my crew stats. I have found this method to work well but if you think you know of a better method please fell free to share your thoughts in the comments section.
What I do is when I visit the Fleet Command page I update all the commanders stats. Then I allocate two stats of the crew. Then I go for the battle and the skirmishes. So after that five battles my crew is in Fair state. Then I go and rest the crew with my last crew stat , So my fleet is in Fresh state whenever I visit the page again. I hope this strategy will work for you as well. As always please feel free to share your thought in the comments section.

Composition of your fleet
As you level up and earn battle points you unlock some new ships and most are left wondering what is the best composition for there fleet is. From my previous experiences the most important thing to win battles in Fleet command is the state of your crew and not the composition of your fleet. From my experience a fleet with 5 Dreadnoughts and 5 Aircraft carriers cannot match a fleet with 10 Dreadnoughts. Simply put pack your fleet with the most expensive ships ( Dreadnoughts ) and you have a good chance of winning most battles.
Having said that you can't pack your fleets with Dreadnought early in the game so what should the composition of your fleet look in the beginning ? , I will share what I did and I believe it helped me level up quickly. What I did was as soon as I had enough battle points to buy a ship I bought it. After my fleet was full I sold a cheaper shop and bought a new one and so on and so forth until my fleet was filled with Dreadnoughts. I never sold a ship until I had enough to buy a better ship.
Know of a better way to handle your fleet ? Please feel free to share it in the comments section.

Most Important thing you need to win battles
Opinions vary about what is the most important thing you need to win battles and skirmishes in Facebook Fleet Command , Some say pack your fleet with the most expensive unit , some say that a balances statistics is the key to victory , but for me the most important thing is the freshness of the crew. Even if the enemy fleet have a slight advantage over you if your crews state is better than there crew status you have more than a fair chance of winning that battle or skirmish.
My usual strategy is update the captains statistics and update 2 stats of the crew. Do the battle and the skirmishes for that round and rest the crew from the final training point. So whenever I visit the game again my crew is always fresh.
What do you think is the most important thing in winning battles and skirmishes ? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section.

Dreadnought and the submarines added
Fleet command team has introduced few new ships to keep the players interested a bit longer. One of the biggest drawbacks of the Fleet command game is that after you unlocked all the ships and completes your fleet there isn't much more to do other than playing skirmishes. The player interaction is very limited compared to other games so adding this new ships is a good way to keep the players who have being playing for a while interested. Drawback is that after acquiring few Dreadnoughts that player becomes almost unbeatable. What I like to see it a bit more player interaction in the game , what do you think ?

Importance of Retreating in skirmishes
Fleet command is not like other games in Facebook , most games in Facebook lets you play all day long , but in fleet command you only have one Flett battle and four skirmishes every twelve hours. You can unlock some more battles by doing some things mentioned in the shore leave tab but in general you only have five battles for every twelve hours. So it is very important to make the best use of those oppurtunities and that is why it is important to pick win every battle.
Fleet battles are the easiest to win , You wan't lost any battle points ( BP ) for picking another opponent so choose one where you can win easily and and also get lots of battle points. The key is to pick opponents who have good stats but cheap ships. This is a bit hard to do in the early levels but when you get to level 15 and above you will find plenty of opponents like this. Make sure your certain of victory because going for a battle in greed of BP is not worth it because you get very little experience if you lose. But if you choose slightly lesser opponent although you want get as much battle points your chance of winning and thus earning a significant amount of BP is greater.
Skirmishes are a bit trickier because you lose 50BP if you retreat , so early in the game where you only get 200-300BP per game its not worth retreating. But when you level up 50BP is not much so you can choose wisely and retreat thus giving you another chance for a skirmish.
So the thing to remember is because you get few oppurtunities per day it is very important to make the best use of these oppurtunities so retreat wisely and earn more battle points per day.

Why Fleet Command is great ?
Facebook Fleet Command is a great game for many reasons , for a software engineer working for 8 hours a day the biggest appeal for me is the amount of time it consumes. You are allowed to play once only 12 hours which automatically limits you from spending hours playing the game and you are only allowed one battle and four skirmishes in a one turn , which will take about 15 minutes so whether you like it or not you can only spend around 30 mins during the day playing the game. I just love that and its the main reason for me love this game so much.
